Community Education
The Community Education series offers short courses on various subjects in an environment that is committed to our Christian mission. Each course at Morthland College is taught by one of our professors or by an approved community instructor. Each instructor signs a Letters of Commitment to our core values: Tradition, Wisdom, Heritage, and Christ. Courses are offered at our West Frankfort administrative offices.
Cost and Payment
The cost of a community education course is $10 per contact hour. For a six-hour course, the cost would be $60 and cover materials, administrative costs, and provide the instructor with a small stipend. Payment must be made 1 week prior to the 1st day of class by check to Morthland College, credit card over the phone (618) 937-2127, or internet using PayPal. Scholarships are available to senior adults (65+): Seniors may either receive ONE FREE Community Education Course per semester, or HALF OFF for every course per semester.
